Good morning

It's one of those mornings when I can't crawl out of the bed. I've been working late last night and I know how much is waiting for me today. Days like that should be deleted from the calendar.

I'm looking for motivation, here are a few quotes that help a little:

A Relaxing Day

The weather has been nice lately, the beginning of the summer, green sceneries, flowers. It was a very nice day we spent out of the big city. A good way to relax and release the stress of the working week.

Well, I agree men and women think in a different way. I don't know if this explanation is true, but for sure it's funny.

Early summer

We have a public holiday, that made our weekend last 4 day. I got the first night bus and I arrived at the seaside. It's still early for the summer season, but the weather is worm and many tourists are already here. I can spend hours and even all day long at the beach. I wish I could stay here for the whole summer.

Home Office

I’m lucky to have options for my work place – the well equipped office or the convenience of my home.

Home office is an option with its ADVANTAGES:

-          I don’t waste time to commute in the traffic

-          I have home made lunch

-          There is no noise from the other people working in the office

-          I don’t have to dress up, make up, make my hair

 

But since I started practicing it, I found some DISADVANTAGES:

-          I can get distracted with things out of work – chores, tv

-          I forget to take breaks, as no one asks me for a coffee break now and then. And it’s boring.

-          I don’t limit my working hours, so I work late

-          I don’t have the convenience of an office phone, printer, another monitor, etc.,

-          Face to face meetings are not possible

What I like most is having the both options and being able to combine them.

Very good video, I found it a while ago. It made me think about how we really take our jobs too serious and that vision deprives us from enjoying the life game of being successful.

We should stay goal oriented, setting up small targets and enjoy achieving them, just like a game where we pass from one level to another. But for sure this game is the one that will pay off.
