Quiz result-What is the symbol of my personality?

Just another quiz that sounds like me in a way:

1st March for Bulgarians

On 1st march Bulgarians tie on their friends and relatives martenitzas on their wrists.
Martenitza is a small piece of adornment, made of white and red yarn and worn from March 1 until around the end of March (or the first time an individual sees a stork, swallow or budding tree). The name of the holiday is Grandma March that is tradition related to welcoming the upcoming spring.
The red and white woven threads are not just meaningless decoration, but symbolize the wish for good health. They are the heralds of the coming of spring in Bulgaria and life in general. While white as a color symbolizes purity and soul, red is a symbol of life and passion, thus some ethnologists have proposed that in its very origins the custom might have reminded people of the constant cycle of life and death, the balance of good and bad, of sorrow and happiness in human life. Given as an amulet in the period of spring, when nature gets “reborn” and starts blossoming again it was not only a reminder of that balance but also a wish for health, strength and happiness.
On the first day of March and few days afterwards, Bulgarians exchange and wear white and red tassels or small dolls called Pizho and Penda. In Bulgarian folklore the name Grandma March is related to a grumpy old lady whose mood swings change very rapidly.
This is an old pagan tradition and remains almost unchanged today. The common belief is that by wearing the red and white colours of the martenitsa people ask Baba Marta for mercy. They hope that it will make winter pass faster and bring spring. Many people wear more than one martenitsa. They receive them as presents from relatives, close friends and colleagues. Martenitsa is usually worn pinned on the clothes, near the collar, or tied around the wrist. The tradition calls for wearing the martenitsa until the person sees a stork or a blooming tree. The stork is considered a harbinger of spring and as evidence that Baba Marta is in a good mood and is about to retire.
Martenitsi are always given as gifts. People never buy martenitsi for themselves. They are given to loved ones, friends, and those people whom one feels close to. They are worn on clothing, or around the wrist or neck, until the wearer sees a stork or swallow returning from migration, or a blossoming tree, and then removes the Martenitsa and hangs it on a blossoming tree.

My idea is for something like that:

7 Mistakes That Prolong The Breakup

1. Why can't we be friends? This sounds nice but in reality an ex does not make a true friend, especially immediately after the breakup.

2. I must have closure. Closure can be difficult to obtain no matter how many conversations one has. The best closure can come from resisting the urge for dialogue and moving on.

3. I just need to make sense of it all, and I just have one more thing to say before you go. Another version of closure and another reason to stay in contact when in reality this just gives your ex another opportunity to hurt you. Not fun.

4. I want to be available for reconciliation. Wanting to get back together is a fair feeling to have. Even if you do end up reconciling, the relationship will undoubtedly be different. It is still important to take some time without speaking in order to mourn the relationship and contemplate how you really feel.

5. I just need to give his stuff back. Do it quickly, in the first couple days. After that, use one of our many mail services.

6. I'm just so horny. And your ex is familiar because you know him or her (and it won't increase your "number"). But again, this is just prolonging the inevitable and will keep you stuck in the past. Time to cut off the ex and find someone new (or maybe even just yourself) to get jiggy with.

7. We run in the same circles. If this is the case, you won't be able to help running into your ex, but that does not mean you need to get in touch afterward. Keep your conversations polite, brief and away from anything that can bring up negative feelings from the past. Obviously easier said than done.

So while our natural reaction to a breakup may be to keep in touch, whatever the reason, in order to successfully move on, the No Contact rule is a good place to start. No matter how much we want to rationalize, the sooner we stop talking to our ex, the faster we'll move on.

Why Men Don't Want To Commit

This question I hear almost every day from my friends... That's their hunter's nature I guess. Here in www.ezinearticles.com I found some answers I guess might be reasonable: I'll rate them in my way:

1. "Why commit when I am getting the goods free of charge?" - A lot of men, if given the opportunity, will sow their wild oats until hell freezes over. These men are like kids in a candy store - they just don't know how to choose when there are so many varieties to choose from. It is more exciting for them to keep you as one of their concubines, rather than get tied down and lose out on the opportunity to sample the delicious lovelies out there.

2. "What if I commit too soon and miss out on the most beautiful woman I have ever met?" This is the kind of internal talk that goes on in the head of the guy that is finding it difficult to commit. You may be the nicest person they have ever met, but something tells them that there may be someone else out there who is more beautiful, sexier, freakier, and just plain nicer.

3. Fear of taking on responsibility - With commitment comes responsibility, and there are some men who just hate to take on the kinds of responsibility that come with marriage and childbirth. They find it much easier to remain single.

4. Your inability to satisfy him in bed - This is an often-neglected reason why a man may not want to commit to a woman. Men have this fear that if they are not sexually satisfied now, when they have not committed to you, it may get even worse when you get very comfortable after they commit.

5. Past hurtful experience that makes it difficult to commit - Some men want to commit to women, but find it very difficult to do so as a result of being dumped, cheated on, or simply being disappointed by someone they loved with all their heart. The hurtful experience could also be from childhood, such as having parents that divorced .

Please forgive me

Sunday of Forgiveness

The last day of Cheesefare Week is called "Forgiveness Sunday", indicating the desire for God's forgiveness that lies at the heart of Great Lent. At Vespers on Sunday evening, all the people make a poklon (prostration) before one another and ask forgiveness, and thus Great Lent begins in the spirit of reconciliation and Christian love. Another name for Forgiveness Sunday is "Cheesefare Sunday," because for devout Orthodox Christians, it is the last day on which dairy products may be consumed until Pascha. Fish, wine, and olive oil will also be forbidden on most days of Great Lent. The day following Cheesefare Sunday is called Clean Monday, because everyone has confessed their sins, asked forgiveness, and begun Great Lent with a clean slate.

Please, forgive me for everything I did wrong, for everything I didn't do and I was supposed to do, for all of my mistakes and failures!
We are humans, not angels and we are destined to make mistakes, but when we don't do those mistakes on purpose I believe the ones that love us will find a way to forgive us!

My Valentine's Day

About 09:30 in the morning the door bell rang, I was sleeping in my room. I expected my parents to open the door, but it seemed like they weren't home to do that. I opened the door so sleepy I almost didn't realize what was going on. There was an old man who handed me a big bouquet of red roses, right after that he gave me a big bad and finally he took out of his pocket small white envelope. I was said good morning in so sweet way!

Although today I celebrate the first birthday of the one who keeps me company every night in my bed:

Later I found very funny cards in my e-mail. They are so funny, I can't stop smiling:

In one of them I was Juliet who marries Romeo, they didn't die, she bore million of babies and the lived happily for ever after :D
On the other one I was Eve in the Eden garden:

How can't you be absolutely crazy about such a perfect man who did this! I promise to reward him in a proper way as soon as I have the chance to!

My favorite Valentine's Day cards and pictures

yummy

I can't cook and I would like to learn some day somehow... But I can fix some easy things like pizza. Today I found very nice recipe for a healthy and very tasty desert:
1. Scrape carrots
2. Add cream cheese
3. Add honey
Mix that together in quantities you like most and the desert is ready!

Be careful when you open anonymous gifts

You complain you didn't receive Valentine's Day present. Hahaha batter be happy you didn't get one of those:
Looks like every nice thing in this world has it's opposite. Some people who guarantee if someone hates you, you'll get to know in appropriate way! Please don't feel encouraged to do this!
The site says:
"Looking for a great gag gift? Has some one really pissed you off? Don't get mad, GET EVEN. Send that special some one a big stinky pile of poop. "

The TOP TEN reasons to send some one a package of poop:
  1. To your ex-husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend
  2. Neighbors pet crapping on your lawn
  3. For your mean boss
  4. For a salesperson or mechanic that ripped you off
  5. A Last minute gift for some one who has everything
  6. A gag gift
  7. For a rich gloating friend, to knock them down a peg
  8. To the teacher that gave your son/daughter a D
  9. Some one left you negative feedback on your auction
  10. You just don't like them
If for someone you feel you are one of the mentioned above, better be careful what gifts you open!

14th February-Day of St. Tryphon and wine

Other than St. Valentine's Day in Bulgaria, we also celebrate St. Tryphon's Day and the day of the wine.

Saint Tryphon is said to have been born at Kampsade (Campsada, also known as Lampsakon), on the Hellespont in modern Turkey and as a boy took care of geese. His name is derived from the Greek τρυφη (tryphe) meaning "softness, delicacy". He acquired fame as a healer, especially of animals, and is considered one of the Holy Unmercenaries, particularly invoked on farms. During the Decian persecution he was taken to Nicaea about the year 250 and was tortured in a horrible manner. He was beheaded with a sword after he had converted the heathen prefect Licius. Fabulous stories are interwoven with his hagiography. His relics were first buried in his native city of Campsada. Later on, they were translated to Constantinople, and then to Rome. His feast day is on 14 February in both the Eastern Orthodox Church and (now) in the Roman Catholic Church. He is greatly venerated in the Eastern Orthodox Church, in which he is also the patron saint of gardeners and winegrowers. Many churches were dedicated to him, and the Eastern Emperor, Leo VI the Wise (d. 912), delivered a eulogy in Tryphon's honour. He is the protector saint of the town of Kotor in Montenegro, and one of the patron saints of Moscow. In Russian icons of the saint, he is often shown holding a falcon, a reference to a miracle attributed to his intercessions. Prayers attributed to him are used against infestations of rodents and locusts; one such prayer appears in the Great Euchologion. The Cathedral of Saint Tryphon in Kotor is dedicated to him.

Quotes women like

"In your life, you meet people. Some you never think about again. Some, you wonder what happened to them. There are some that you wonder if they ever think about you. And then there are some you wish you never had to think about again. But you do."

"You have to take the good with the bad, smile with the sad, love what you got, remember what you had, always forgive but never forget, learn from your mistakes but never regret. People change, things go wrong, but just remember life goes on."

"It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but even more to stand up to your friends."

"We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have."

"Have you met the perfect couple? The two soul mates whose love never dies? The husband and wife who trust each other completely. If you haven't met the perfect couple, let me introduce you. They stand on the top layer of butter cream frosting on a wedding cake. The secret of their success? Well, for... starters, they don't have to look at each other."

"Temptation comes to all of us. Whether or not we succumb depends on our ability to recognize its disguise. Sometimes it arrives in the form of an old flame, flickering back to life. Or a new friend who could end up being so much more. And so we give in to temptation, all the while knowing come morning, we'll have to suffer the consequences."

"If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place. "

Quote- Influence people have on us

The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances; if there is any reaction, both are transformed!

Men should marry young, smart women, say scientists

Men should marry a woman who is cleverer than they are and at least five years younger, if they want the relationship to stand the best chance of lasting, according to new research. Scientists tracked 1,000 couples who were either married or in serious relationships over five years and then looked for patterns among those who were still together.

They found that neither should have been divorced in the past, the man should be five or more years older and the woman should have received more education than the man.

he academics’ report, published in the European Journal of Operational Research, did say that men and women choose partners “on the basis of love, physical attraction, similarity of taste, beliefs and attitudes, and shared values”.

But it added that using “objective factors” such as age, education and cultural origin “may help reduce divorce”.

The scientists, including Dr Emmanuel Fragniere of the University of Bath, found that a previous divorce lessened the chances of a relationship surviving, but this was less marked when both partners had been divorced before.

My sister's 22nd Birthday

On Friday my sister had a Birthday, she's 22 already! She has very nice job she enjoys very much and she lives with a friend, so I don't see her very often already.
On Friday she came home for a family dinner. We had too much food though, my mom cooks very good :)
On Saturday we started the party in my sister's apartment. Her friend made Margarita cocktails:

Some of the guests came in the apartment and we had fun time just gossiping and drinking Margaritas.

Before midnight we moved to a club we all like.

My sister's dress was impressive. But she's in a great shape, so everything would fit great on her... some day I gotta take after her.

The cake was very silly:

We had a great time, well done, sis! In two months, I'll call u to organize my B-day... unfortunately I'm not getting 22.
Btw see how those angel wings fit on me! Like I was born with them!
