Don’t try to win their game, make your own one.

People tend to know everything, how does one or another thing work. They gain information and coordinate their actions based on it- what is good, what is bad, what is appropriate and what is unacceptable. In another words everyone needs to know the rules of the game and how to play it. In the business it’s a good beginner strategy to learn from others until you gain enough information.

Following the rules is a good start in the career competition. But at some point it happens that everyone who follows the rules is just average. Everyone can follow instructions. Then what? Make something more than that- be initiative, make a new game! Improve it, create a new approach, break the rules and see what’s beyond. See the big picture and then your work into it and many ideas may come up. Be careful and make sure your bright idea will enlighten your work but not put it in the dark.

Be brave, crazy ideas at first changed the world later.

My Busy April- China

Just three days after my weekend in Milan, I had to leave for China. I’ve preparing for this trip for months. I had to help a friend of mine who trades Chinese merchandises in Bulgaria. He needed my English knowledge and assistance to visit the Import-Export fair in Guangzhou.
I had eight hours in
Hong Kong and I took advantage of this situation to walk around. It’s very interesting place and I’m sorry I couldn’t spend more time there.
Guangzhou
is a nice place too- big crowded city, traffic, malls. But it also has beautiful parks. I was in three of their temples, very impressive experience. They have great shopping there, you can find everything from brand clothes, purses and watches to every type of gismos possible. The food was unusual for me.
I had to work a lot, but I’m proud I did a great job and it was an interesting experience for me to get involved in international sells process.

My Busy April- Milan

I’ve been really busy lately, but April was crazy, I can’t believe it’s over and I have everything that had been scheduled done.

I had three exams to take that included a lot of home assignments and three presentations, I’ve been working full time meanwhile. There were nights I couldn’t afford sleeping more than 4 hours. Surprisingly I got excellent marks on the tree of them. The subjects were very interesting to me and I enjoyed studying them and doing my “homeworks”.

I had a birthday, time is flying by so fast, I wish I could stay 25 for longer, but time is one of the irreversible things in this life. As I was too busy studying I didn’t celebrate, I just had a quite dinner with my best friend in a very nice Indian restaurant. It’s one of my favorites. But I have compensated a few days later, I went to Milan to celebrate my friend’s birthday.

Weather was amazing, unusually hot for spring- 34 degrees Celsius, but it gave me the chance to see the beautiful Italian lakes between the mountains from the plane. The view was beautiful! I saw some beautiful Milan streets, the Opera House and the impressive Duomo Cathedral, Piazza Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and one of the best Milan attractions- the gelato factory!

In the evening we had dinner in an outdoor restaurant in Porta Garibaldi area. Mmmm the food was so tasty! Then we went to a bar to get ready for the club. Italians are so funny people! We had a great time!

Later I was in China, then I visited my relatives for Easter.... but about that later :).
